She did not graduate in finance and does not have 10 years of work experience in this sector The Deputy Minister of Defense Zana Xhuka, decreed by the president as the proposed candidate for the head of the ILDKP, does not meet the criteria to lead this institution. Her candidacy for the head of the ILDKP is contrary to Law No. 9049, dated 10.4.2003, “On the declaration and control of assets, financial obligations, of elected officials and certain public employees.” In Article 12 of the above-mentioned law, under the point “Conditions for being elected Inspector General, the candidate who meets the following conditions may be elected: a) be an Albanian citizen; b) have higher education, as a financial economist or lawyer; c) have worked in the profession for no less than 10 years and be over 35 years old; ç) not have been convicted of criminal offenses; d) not have been dismissed from work or from the civil service by disciplinary measure.
