Berisha’s allies: The left should join our coalition By PJETËR GJINI The names of the candidates for MPs in the districts of Shkodër and Lezhë have been revealed. The Democratic Party has made changes to the list of incumbent MPs in these two districts. In the new list, for the elections of 23 June, what stands out is the inclusion of young candidates and the re-nomination of some of the current MPs. The Shkodër district list is headed by the deputy chairwoman of the PD, Jozefina Topalli, followed by Fatbardh Spahia, former deputy minister of Health, currently Secretary General of President Nishani. Third on the list is the incumbent MP, Gjok Uldedaj, who is running in the Bushat area. The new candidate is economist Benet Beci, fourth on the list. Since October 2005, he has held the post of Executive Director at the Albanian Development Fund, an institution that administers loans and grants from the Albanian state from foreign donors in the field of implementing infrastructure projects in support....
