In his fifth pamphlet, he even insultingly calls me an “usurper” of the archiepiscopal throne. He angrily asks me: “Where is that canonical act with seal and signature proving that he was elected as Archbishop by a Holy Synod of the Albanian Church? Why did he not respect the Constitution of the Albanian state, which requires as an obligatory condition that the Archbishop of KOASH is considered a legitimate Archbishop only when his appointment is approved by decree of the Albanian head of state, an approval that up to this very day has not been granted by decree?” The answer is simple: First of all, when I took on the responsibility of rebuilding from the foundations the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania, there was not even a Holy Synod of Albania.
