The Speaker of Parliament, Ilir Meta, called yesterday’s meeting of the Conference of Chairpersons, which was held only between him and the heads of the parliamentary groups. At the end of the meeting, Meta announced that the next plenary session will be held on Thursday to confirm the composition of the 8 permanent committees, the Bureau, and the delegations to international bodies. He clarified that, despite the difference in numbers, the committees will preserve political balance. “In the meeting we held this (yesterday) morning with the chairpersons of the parliamentary groups, we agreed that the plenary session will be held on Thursday morning.
