He replaces in this post another former PD MP, one of the politicians with a long record within the right wing, Mr. Shaban Memia. In an interview given yesterday to “Gazeta Shqiptare”, Memia confirmed yesterday that he was leaving this post, while clarifying that he was not dismissed, but had submitted his resignation 4 months ago. “I asked the Prime Minister for my resignation 4 months ago, which was accepted only in recent days. You know very well the reasons for my resignation. I am now enjoying a very tasty lunch,” Mr. Memia declared. Mr. Memia’s departure from the head of ALUIZNI came as a result of a conflict with his former subordinate Ferdinand Shehu, who held the post of director of legalization for Tirana.
