By VALENTINA MADANI The deputy and member of the executive board of the Democratic Party, Edi Paloka, considers the race for the leadership of the PD completely transparent, conducted on the basis of clear democratic rules. Paloka tells “Gazeta Shqiptare” that there is an attempt to tarnish this process, while he recalls that the rules were accepted by everyone. He rejects the claims of PD deputy chairman Astrit Patozi about a non-real competition, while criticizing him for tarnishing the process in the PD. According to Paloka, this tarnishing is done for subjective reasons, while he notes that Astrit Patozi and Sokol Olldashi are close friends. Paloka expresses confidence that the democrats, led by Mr. Basha, will know how to unite to strengthen the PD and its government toward major challenges. Mr. Paloka, how do you consider the PD electoral process, finalized with Mr. Lulzim Basha as chairman?
