The police continue the investigation; his name was part of a known criminal group By AGRON LISI “I do not know what my son did in his past, because he lived abroad.” These are the words that, according to suspicion, Pjetër Bendo, the father of the 37-year-old killed on Friday evening in the capital, told the police structures. Police sources inform that Elidon Lafetaj’s father (Elio Bendo) stated to police officers that he had no knowledge that his son had been involved in criminal situations. The police clarify that the father’s testimony did not provide many details that could help shed light on the murder committed a few days ago in Tirana. Sources from the investigative group say that Pjetër Bendo stated that his son had never shown any problems. According to the blue uniforms, Bendo said that his son had led a normal life and that he had no conflicts with anyone, nor had he been threatened by anyone ... Continued on page 6
