up”, Ali Evsen, so widely
discussed in Albania for
his arrest in Spain,
on charges of money laun-
dering as well as for the
seizure of the airline com-
pany “Alba-
nian Airlines”, gave yes-
terday an interview to the
state news agency of
Azerbaijan, APA, about
the fact that he is one of
the persons wanted by
Interpol. He says that if he
is wanted by Interpol,
then why has he not been
arrested until now while
he is in Spain, so he can
continue the trial brought
there on corruption charges.
According to him, this is an
absurd situation he finds
himself in, but he stresses
that someone is behind
these reports. Evsen ad-
mitted that if such an or-
der exists, then why was
he not stopped at the bor-
der with Azerbaijan,
where he recently was for
a visit, since most of his
business is based there,....
