The decision for transfer of ownership is clarified, 100 applications so far By ERMELINDA HOXHAJ Everyone who owns a home whose construction was completed by August 1991 can begin the procedures to obtain the mortgage. The Municipality of Tirana will be the first step that around 5 thousand families identified in Tirana with such problems must follow. The Mayor, Lulzim Basha, said that all bureaucracy will be avoided in support of these citizens and that within a very short time they will be provided with their titles. So far, only 100 families have applied. In implementation of the Council of Ministers decision dated 6 September 2012, determining the procedure for the transfer of ownership of immovable property built by 10.8.1991 and its functional land, when no ownership acquisition deeds are held, as well as for their registration, the Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha, held the first meeting with the working group established to implement this decision,...
