For his part, MP Frroku published the text message he sent to Topalli after her attacks during the parliamentary session. PD spokeswoman Laura Vorpsi denounced, in her view, “threats against Mrs Topalli”. “After the speech she gave in parliament, Mrs Topalli received a menacing message from MP Frroku. The Democratic Party considers the threat against Mrs Topalli to be a manifestation of what Mrs Topalli herself and the Democratic Party have long denounced: the entry into politics of suspicious persons linked to criminal activity,” Vorpsi said yesterday.
