Lulzim Basha: The best took part in the race, the new team will draft the alternative By VALENTINA MADANI From yesterday, the Democrats have new governing forums elected through a transparent voting process. The Democrats now have the new Secretary General, Arben Ristani, the two deputy chairmen Edi Paloka and Edmond Spaho, 22 department heads and 6 new secretaries. What aroused great interest was the race for the post of Secretary General of the PD. Eduard Selami, Enkeljed Alibeaj and Arben Ristani ran for this post, with the latter emerging as the winner. The National Council of the PD has entrusted its votes to Arben Ristani for Secretary General of this party. Of the 279 members that make up the council, only 266 took part in the vote, of which 3 ballots were invalid and 1 ballot was missing. Of the 262 valid votes, the Democratic MP managed to obtain 101 votes in the race with Eduard Selami and Enkeljed Alibeaj. The head of the PD reacted immediately,... On pages 2-3
