The incident was recorded on Monday evening, near the home of the host of the program “Kaktus”, as a masked person threatened Çani with a gun, but fortunately this attack turned out to be unsuccessful, because at the moment the assailant fired, his weapon jammed. According to police information, around 8:30 p.m., while Çani was returning home, near “Faik Konica” street in the capital, the still unidentified person followed Çani until the moment he was going up in the elevator of the building where the well-known journalist lives. According to police data, the assailant had been waiting for Çani for a long time near his home, as confirmed by the many cigarettes he smoked below the “News 24” journalist’s building, as well as the video footage, in which the assailant appears.
