Free for those who have disabled family members By LORENC RABETA Director of the Tirana District Directorate of ALUIZNI, Paulin Rajta explains in an interview the various stages of the legalization process for informal buildings, from the measurements taken by field workers to the preparation of the ownership document for residents. The Tirana District Directorate alone has around 50 thousand properties awaiting legalization, which present a large number of problems. Rajta explains that the entire area covered by the directorate has been divided into around 1 thousand blocks (each made up of 30 to 100 buildings), while the field teams manage to register around 100 buildings every day. The district director also explains the procedures followed for the legalization of the building of legalization for each construction, as well as the standards that the properties must meet in order to qualify for legalization.
