Within the month of November, work will begin on the construction of the big mosque in Namazgja Square. This was the good news that the Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama, gave to Muslim believers on the day of Kurban Bayram. “Two things that are accomplished on this Bayram: to give the Bektashi community the chance to finally have this Baba Reshat, which he had at heart, as a testament. And for the Muslim Community to have the new mosque. Now nothing remains but to finish it and enjoy it,” said the prime minister during his visit to the World Bektashi Headquarters. The construction of the mosque will be made possible by the expropriation of the owners by the government, since their land is affected by the project for this place of worship.
