Legal expert: the entire chain of command at the Bank failed By AURORA KOROMANI The prosecution issues an arrest order for the former Treasury director in Linzë, Dorian Çollaku. Sources from the prosecutor’s office say that Çollaku is accused of abuse of office, following the scandal involving the Bank of Albania, from which 713 million lek were stolen. Meanwhile, his side does not deny that Çollaku has not been at his home and that he is expected to surrender today to the blue uniforms. Just a few days ago, the Treasury director in Linzë was dismissed from the post he held following an order from the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania. It is understood that Çollaku should have been responsible for the theft inside the Issue Department of the Bank of Albania, since every action was supposed to be checked by him. A few days earlier, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania dismissed two department directors, who are suspected of having known about the theft. The two dismissed directors... On pages 6-8
