While the 6-year-old was brought ashore, his parents Sinan and Luljeta Shala, aged 46 and 43 respectively, lost their lives. Official sources from the Durrës County Police Directorate and the Kavajë police said the serious incident occurred yesterday afternoon. After preliminary investigations, the police said that employees of a tourist village were the ones who rescued two minors coming to the aid of the two victims, but they were only able to bring their young son ashore alive. After arriving near their home, the spouses Sinan and Luljeta Shala from the village of Qerret (of Kosovar origin), together with their four children, had gone to the beach to отдыхать.
