VISAS FOR RUSSIANS ARE LIFTED

Ministry of Tourism: Tour operators requested it By VALENTINA MADANI DARINA TANUSHI On Wednesday, the government decided that Russian citizens will enter Albania without visas during the period from 25 May to 30 September 2014. In addition to this country, the government decision also concerns other countries such as Moldova, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. But Russia stands out in particular because of the conflict in Ukraine. In fact, this is a decision that almost all Albanian governments over the last decade have taken on the eve of the tourist season, but in this case the lifting of visas for Russian citizens stands out more, at a time when the Russian authorities have been subject to restrictions by the US and the European Union regarding the conflict in Ukraine.
