The Tirana Prosecutor’s Office has issued a cooperation order to two of the suspects believed to be involved in the scandal of the theft at the Bank of Albania. Reliable sources from this institution emphasize that the two BoA employees, namely Petrit Ramohitaj, cashier in charge of operations, and Bashkim Xhilaga, former head of the cash desk stock and the operational cash desk, have been offered the possibility of cooperation. According to sources from the investigative group, the two employees have not yet given an answer regarding cooperation. What is known so far is that the prosecution has invited the two employees to cooperate, in the hope that they will accept. Confidential sources explain that these two employees were specifically questioned in order to be offered this opportunity, because their statements were also heard, but also because the investigative team suspects that the two employees truly had no knowledge of the theft committed at the bank.
