The purpose of this tour, Minister Gjosha explains in an exclusive interview for “Gazeta Shqiptare”, is: “to discipline ourselves for the unwavering will we have not to stop for a single moment in this commitment of ours”. Asked about expectations for obtaining candidate country status in June, the minister of integration says that “the decision to grant candidate country status belongs to the EU member states. We are, and have always been, hopeful to move forward in this direction, to be one step ahead in this process”. She also clarifies that “at no point has Albania been prejudiced as a Muslim country.
