The Republican Party is demanding the return of coastal lands to the owners who possessed them before 1945. For this reason, its chairman, Fatmir Mediu, has submitted to the Assembly an amendment to the law “On Transfer of Agricultural Land into Ownership without Compensation”, as amended, which “Gazeta Shqiptare” publishes in full today.

ON SOME ADDITIONS AND AMENDMENTS TO LAW No. 8053 DATED 21.12.1995, “ON THE TRANSFER INTO OWNERSHIP, WITHOUT COMPENSATION, OF AGRICULTURAL LAND”, AS AMENDED
Pursuant to Articles 78 and 83, paragraph 1, of the Constitution, upon the proposal of the Republican Party Deputy, Fatmir Mediu, the Assembly of the Republic of Albania
DECIDED:
In Law No. 8053 dated 21.12.1995, “On the transfer into ownership, without compensation, of agricultural land”, as amended, the following changes shall be made:
