While the Democratic Party is still refusing to take its seats on the parliamentary commission for this reform, Minister of State Bledi Çuçi proposed yesterday that the work should begin with a hearing session in this commission. But, unlike him, MP Bashkim Fino was more categorical that this reform cannot be done by only one party. Minister of State for Local Affairs Bledi Çuçi, after an informal meeting with ambassadors on the territorial reform issue, stressed that this reform must be carried out even if the Democratic Party does not take part. Minister Çuçi said: “It is an open issue. We are determined to have the opposition as part of the process, but if the opposition chooses to isolate itself and boycott political processes, that is its choice.
