The Minister of Integration, Klajda Gjosha, has just returned from her latest visit to Germany, from where she has begun a tour that will continue in other European countries as well. The purpose of this tour, the minister explains in an exclusive interview for “Gazeta Shqiptare”, is “to demonstrate the unwavering will we have to not stop for a single moment in this commitment of ours”. When asked about expectations for obtaining candidate country status in June, the Minister of Integration says that “the decision to grant candidate country status belongs to the EU member states. We are and have always been hopeful to move forward in this direction, to be one step ahead in this process”. She also specifies that “at no point has Albania been prejudged as a Muslim country. None of the member states has ever mentioned religious affiliation” ...
