No information from SHISH Yesterday’s parliamentary session was marked by harsh debates, insults and personal accusations, even the use of street language between former prime minister Sali Berisha and the head of government, Edi Rama. Everything began right after Berisha accused the government of being completely irresponsible in its decisions, asking that the agreement with the IMF, which proposes increases in 10 taxes and wage hikes, be discussed in Parliament. “Gazeta Shqiptare” today publishes in full the most heated debates from the plenary session. SALI BERISHA: After a six-month grave-robbing, Albanians learn today from the media that in a frightening agreement of complete secrecy with the IMF, 10 more taxes will also be raised. There is no more tragic news for these citizens, who are becoming poorer in the most merciless way, than to learn that the price of electricity and water is going up at a time when it should be moving toward being free, considering that Austria gives water for free because it gives it in abundance.
