Parliament was engulfed yesterday in debates and mutual accusations between the majority and the opposition over nepotism and appointments that have been made in the public administration. The debate in Parliament began with MP Majlinda Bregu, who recalled that “outside this Parliament hall there are several hundred state administration employees protesting against the unfair dismissals from work.” But immediately after Bregu, the Minister of Innovation, Milena Harito, reacted and mentioned some of the relatives of Democratic Party deputies who are employed in the state administration. This prompted an immediate response from former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, the Republican Party leader Fatmir Mediu, and several other opposition MPs. “Are you worried about those 7,000 people you talk about, or are you worried about the lists of your own relatives?
