Also beneficiaries are the entities that purchased medical equipment By LORENC RABETA The Ministry of Finance has opened a fund of 33 million dollars to settle unpaid invoices owed to private companies contracted by the previous government. “Gazeta Shqiptare” publishes the list of 156 contracts that have been paid by the ministry together with the names of the companies that carried out the works or services. The list also presents the amounts paid for each contract, the total of which is 3.2 billion lekë (approximately 33 million dollars). The ministry also stated that all businesses on the list must take the necessary steps to collect the amounts due. Most of the contracts in question consist of works carried out for road construction, but there are also purchases of medical equipment or office equipment for institutions.
