I have said harsher things when I was minister” The Socialist MP Ben Blushi described the failure to respect the statute of the Socialist Party as outrageous, implying the non-holding of elections for the party chairman, since Edi Rama’s mandate expired last September. Invited yesterday on the program Debati on Channel One by journalist Roland Qafoku, he declared that the base and the party forums demand respect for the statute to the last letter. Article 30, point 2 of the PS statute explicitly states that “the party chairman’s mandate is 4 years.” Article 29, point 1 states that “the PS leadership meets no less than once a month.” It is not a novel because we have had enough of novels.
