Police also seize detonators and auxiliary equipment, sold to 2 criminal gangs By AURORA KOROMANI The base for the production and distribution of explosive materials in the capital is dismantled. Police sources explain that last night the seizure of around 10 kilograms of C4 was made possible, believed to have been intended for criminal purposes. According to the first data from the blue uniforms, five people have also been arrested, whose names are not being released because of the investigation, and 2 other people have been declared wanted. Meanwhile, the police report that the arrested individuals were to sell the explosive material to two criminal gangs in Tirana. Sources close to the Ministry of the Interior explain that the five arrested had been under investigation for at least a period of 6 months, until last night police forces from Police Station No. 2 and Anti-Terror units seized the explosive material.
