On the list, payments also for people dismissed as far back as 2007 By LORENC RABETA The lawsuits won by employees dismissed from the administration have become a heavy burden on the state treasury. Just last week, the Ministry of Finance carried out around 300 payments stemming from court decisions in favor of those dismissed from work, with a value of more than 500 million lek (more than 5 million dollars). “Gazeta Shqiptare” publishes the names of 262 dismissed employees to whose bank accounts the compensation amounts recognized by the court have been transferred. The vast majority of employees whose payments have been executed on the basis of court decisions belong to 2014, but there is no shortage of those who were dismissed by the previous government, and some payments go back to 2007.
