The full disclosure of the archives of the Property Restitution and Compensation Agency (AKKP) has shown that the number of files awaiting review is far higher than had been reported so far. According to the AKKP director, the exact number of compensation-and-restitution claims pending review is 8,343. “For a long time, the media have commonly said that the files awaiting restitution or compensation are somewhere around 5-6 thousand. After the disclosure of all decisions and all applications by the owners, I can say with certainty that the full figure is 8,343 files”, ...
