The prosecution has issued a restriction order for the former Treasury director in Linzë, Dorian Çollaku. Sources from the prosecution office say that Çollaku is accused of abuse of office, following the scandal involving the Bank of Albania, from which 713 million lekë were stolen. Meanwhile, the police have learned that Çollaku was not at his home and that he is expected to turn himself in today to the blue-uniformed officers. Only a few days earlier, the Treasury director in Linzë was dismissed from the post he held after an order from the Supervisory Council at the Bank of Albania. It is understood that Çollaku should be held responsible for the theft inside the Issuance Department at the Bank of Albania, since every action had to be checked by him.
