Pilgrims from all over the Balkans arrived last night in Tirana to take part today in Pope Francis’s mass. Thousands of Catholic believers from Kosovo, Croatia and also from other Balkan countries will be present today thanks to the Pope’s address in “Nënë Tereza” square. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama revealed last night the gift he will give Pope Francis today at the end of his visit to Albania. Prime Minister Rama will be the first official to receive Pope Francis, upon his arrival at Rinas airport. Then he will meet the President of the Republic and later also the Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, and his collaborators, apart from the meetings and the mass scheduled according to a carefully prepared agenda.
