The draft statute of the Democrats, which is expected to be approved at Saturday’s Assembly, differs from the current statute in three main points. The first change is made in the heading of Article 36 for the National Council, the second change concerns Article 39, which deals with the presidency, and the third change concerns an addition to Article 43, which makes the addition of departments mandatory. The National Assembly of the Democratic Party will meet on 27 and 28 September in Tirana.
