The anti-drugs unit of the State Police, in cooperation with the Serious Crimes Prosecutor’s Office and the Fier Police, handcuffed the 33-year-old Orvel Hebeja yesterday. According to the prosecution’s investigation, earlier this year in January he attempted to traffic into Albania from Turkey 59 kilograms of heroin, which was found hidden in a truck with an Albanian driver in the Turkish-Greek border area, in the city of Ipsik. On 15 January 2014, Turkish police arrested Leonard Tosniku, who was identified as the driver of the truck with Tirana plates 9214 T, which was to transport the narcotics to our country.
