Tirana woke up yesterday with
a bitter piece of news.
The heart of the man from
among her own sons stopped
beating. On Monday morning,
singer-songwriter Florian Kondo,
or as everyone knows him,
Doktor Flori, passed away.
The 35-year-old artist did not
suffer from any illness, so for
everyone it came as a surprise.
A tragic paradox: he was only a
few meters away from the Tirana
Emergency unit and yet he could
not make it. At Flori’s home, the
pain is immense. The lifeless body
of their son arrived home at around
14:00 from the morgue in Tirana,
and at those moments only
sorrow was felt. The house was
full of people arriving in a hurry,
who seemed to believe the news
only after stepping into the house
where mourning had fallen. No
sign of his daughter or his wife,
and no one dared ask. Nor to
speak... Everyone to themselves,
they lived in silence and in tears
mourning the loss of the loved
one, the friend, the colleague, the
artist. Flori passed away in the
arms of his younger brother, ...
