to death at the door of
his premises “Bar Center”, in
the center of Durrës.
Official sources from the Di-
rectorate of Police of this
region said last night that
the serious incident occurred
at around 18:20. The killing
of the father of two children
has alarmed the police, and
has brought back fears of old
clashes between criminal
groups in this city. Large
police forces went to the scene
and began investigations.
After carrying out the prelimi-
nary investigative steps, it was
found that the 50-year-old
Murati was shot by
two still unidenti-
fied people. According to the
case investigators, it is sus-
pected that the killing was
carried out in revenge. This
also because the victim was a
person with prior criminal
records (he was accused of
murder and kidnapping in
1999). More than 10 people
have been taken in for ques-
tioning...
