The first 4,300 names that benefited from ’93 AKKP PUBLISHES THE ARCHIVE OF THE EXPROPRIATED AND CLAIMANTS A basic Register of Property Restitution and Compensation is being created, recording both the returned areas and the owners’ claims. Here are the files with shortcomings that remain unresolved By LORENC RABETA The Agency for the Restitution and Compensation of Properties has made public 8,600 property files and the corresponding decisions for the capital, starting from 1993. Each file in the AKKP archive now includes the registration date, the names of the expropriated subjects, as well as those claiming these properties, the areas acknowledged for return and those returned, court decisions, and the specific issues in each file. What stands out is that a large number of files have problems, ranging from missing documentation to the absence of an official decision regarding them. “Gazeta Shqiptare” is publishing today the first 4,300 names from the Tirana files revealed by AKKP, along with the issues of each one, while the rest will be published tomorrow.
