The production and sale base for explosive materials in the capital has been dismantled. Police sources explain that last night it was possible to seize about 10 kilograms of C4, which are believed to have been intended for criminal purposes. According to initial information from the blue uniforms, five people have also been handcuffed, their names not being disclosed because of the investigation, and two other people have been declared wanted. Meanwhile, the police report that the arrested individuals would have sold the explosive material to two criminal gangs in Tirana. Sources close to the Ministry of the Interior explain that the five arrested had been under investigation for at least a period of 6 months, until yesterday’s arrival of police forces from Police Station No. 2 and Anti-Terror units seized the explosive material in the operation, which began around 9:30 p.m., as the police forces blocked...
