The heirs of politically persecuted people who have completed the paperwork to receive compensation will get the money, even if the rest of their documents have not yet been completed. This is one of the changes the law “On the compensation of politically convicted persons” is expected to undergo, and it is expected to ease the process for “active” heirs. The news is made public by the head of the Institute for the Integration of Politically Persecuted People, Bilal Kola, who, through this interview given to “Gazeta Shqiptare”, explains in detail the full changes that the law concerning the compensation process for politically convicted persons is expected to undergo. Mr. Kola, it is already known that the law “On the compensation of politically convicted persons” is being reviewed. How far has the process reached so far, and what are some of the new features it will bring? At present we are at the stage where the draft law has passed through several commissions...
