By TRENDAFILE VISHA Yesterday, the First Instance Court of Saranda ordered the security measure of “Arrest in prison” for Agron Cane, secretary to the Socialist Party MP Koço Kokëdhima. Sixty-two-year-old Cane is accused of “Sexual harassment” and “Passive unlawful influence peddling,” charges brought after the publication of a video by “News 24” and “Balkan-Web”. In the video, Cane could be seen and heard offering a job in exchange for sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl. The court hearing was held yesterday at midday behind closed doors, a decision taken by the court after the request of the prosecution, due to investigative secrecy and the testimony of a minor in the investigation file. During this hearing, the defendant declared that he is innocent and that this is a political attack.
