Edi Rama: Foreign prosecutors for the investigation of “21 January” By VALENTINA MADANI A popular march, where thousands of citizens from across the country, disappointed by the socialist government, gathered yesterday in the capital under the motto “Rama, keep your hands out of my pockets.” The march began at the place where, 23 years ago, the statue of dictator Enver Hoxha was toppled. Supporters, holding signs reading “Consensus, not dynamite”, “Respect the Constitutional Court so we can return to work”, “We love Albania like the rest of Europe”, “The Renaissance turned out to be a lie”, “Rama is a liar”, began the march from “Skënderbej” Square. In the symbolism of the day, the protesters continued marching toward “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, with the final destination being the square in front of the Prime Minister’s building. Right in front of the government headquarters, speeches also began by people who had lost their jobs and citizens disappointed over legalizations, etc. 2 citizens from the districts described their own cases of dismissal from work by the current government in violation of the law. ....
