No information from SHISH Yesterday’s parliamentary session was marked by fierce debates, insults and personal accusations, even the use of street language between former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and the head of government, Edi Rama. It all started right after Berisha accused the government of completely irresponsible decisions, calling for the agreement with the IMF, which proposes raising 10 taxes and increasing salaries, to be discussed in Parliament. “Gazeta Shqiptare” today publishes in full the harshest debates of the plenary session. SALI BERISHA: After six months of going through hell, Albanians today learn from the media that in an agreement signed in secret and in full with the IMF, 10 more taxes will be raised for them. There is no more tragic news for these citizens, who are becoming poor in the most undeserved way, than to learn that the price of energy and water is being raised, at a time when it should be going toward being free, if we consider that Australia gives water for free because it has it in abundance.
