That is how Hasan Korvafaj begins his conversation with the self-proclaimed imam of the Mëzez mosque, Bujar Hysa, who is behind bars, suspected of recruiting and sending Albanian Muslim believers to wage jihad in Syria. The conversation was wiretapped by the police and is fully transcribed in the Serious Crimes Prosecutor’s file, which is investigating the group of people who sent believers to Syria, who, according to the prosecution, were fighting on behalf of the Al-Nusra organization. Although the file does not specify it, this must be the subject of the last telephone conversations Hasan Korvafaj had with the self-proclaimed imam, Hysa, before he was killed during fighting in Syria. “GSH” has managed to obtain part of the dialogue between Korvafaj and Hysa, in which the believer killed in Syria pleads with the imam...
