The Attorney Gen-
eral, Adriatik Llalla,
has formally addressed
the State Intelligence
Service and the Intelli-
gence Agency of the De-
fense (AIM), requesting
that they provide any
possible information they
may have regarding the
involvement of the Al-
banian Army in drug
trafficking. The letters,
signed by the head of the
central prosecution au-
thority, were delivered to
these two highly impor-
tant intelligence institu-
tions as part of the initia-
tive to verify the opposi-
tion’s accusations, accord-
ing to which the Albanian
Army is involved in drug
trafficking. In the letter,
the chief prosecutor de-
scribes this issue as one
of high public sensitivity
and says that the three
institutions should make
available any information
they have on the matter,
in order to shed light on
these accusations. In an
