Prime Minister Edi Rama, in an interview given to the prestigious German newspaper “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung,” said that Chancellor Angela Merkel played an irreplaceable role in overcoming the deadlock created with Serbia regarding the scheduled meeting between him and Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vuçiç. On Wednesday, Belgrade was to be visited for the first time in 68 years by an Albanian prime minister. On Sunday, the visit was postponed, for 10 minutes. Do you understand/see this as a refusal? Setting the date for the 10th was a joint decision after a long phone call we had. The fact that the visit will take place about three weeks later than the previously set date does not indicate refusal, but difficulties and the will to overcome them. What happened during and after the match in Belgrade showed how fragile the peace achieved in our region is and how little it can take to...
