Just last week, the Ministry of Finance executed around 300 payments arising from court decisions in favor of those dismissed from work, with a total value of more than 500 million lek (more than 5 million dollars). “Gazeta Shqiptare” publishes the names of 262 employees dismissed from work whose compensation amounts, recognized by the court, have been transferred to their bank accounts. The vast majority of employees whose payments have been executed on the basis of court decisions belong to 2014, but there are also those dismissed by the previous government; in fact, some payments go back as far as 2007.
