Someone who used to pay for 300 kWh/hour will pay 650 lek more starting from 1 January 2015 By LORENC RABETA ERE has also officially decided to abolish the two-tier system for household consumers, setting a fixed tariff of 9.5 lek per kWh consumed. The current tariffs are: 7.7 lek for consumers under 300 kilowatts and 13.5 lek for those over 300 kilowatts. At the end of the meeting, which lasted over two hours, the Energy Regulatory Authority also decided that small businesses will pay 11 lek per kWh, while larger ones will pay 14 lek per kWh. For bakeries, the price remains unchanged at 7.1 lek per kWh. ERE has also decided to increase the production price to 1.45 lek. Meanwhile, the average electricity price for OSHEE will be 10.7 lek per kW. During the meeting, ERE also decided to keep unchanged the transmission tariff for OST.
