Bledar Hamza is killed, the family: He fought for religion, not for money In the war against Bashar al-Assad, the 28-year-old left with only a passport for Turkey By ENKELEJDA SKËNDERASI Another Albanian is killed in Syria. Bledar Hamza, from the village of Leshnicë in the district of Pogradec, lost his life on Sunday noon while fighting alongside the rebels for the overthrow of dictator Bashar al-Assad. Relatives of the Hamza family stated yesterday that it was the 28-year-old’s wife who brought them the tragic news. “If Bledi really fought in Syria, he did not do it for money, but for religion...” On page 13
