Around 8,500 files held by the AKKP will be reviewed by the end of October. Compensation payment, procedures and the calculation of the financial value are clarified.

The law on the return and compensation of property is changing. The deadline for reviewing about 8,500 files that are at the Agency for the Return and Compensation of Property will end at the end of October this year. The extension of the deadline, according to the law report, was driven by the increase in requests from former owners in 2013 and 2014.
