The government publishes the new coefficients starting from 1994 and the reference wage for former cooperative employees, which will be 1,619 lek per month By OLA MITRE The new law “On social insurance”, which entered into force on 1 January 2015, establishes the removal of the maximum cap on the old-age pension, which means that calculations will be made according to a completely new formula. Meanwhile, the Council of Ministers has determined all the elements (the wage indexation coefficient from 1994, the amount of the social pension and the reference wage of workers from former agricultural cooperatives), which make it possible to calculate the amount of the pension.
