Earlier, it had sentenced 2 other officials The former head of the National Urban Planning and Building Inspectorate, Zyhdi Dajti, has “secured” acquittal at the Tirana Court. Dajti was accused of abuse of office, and the prosecution had requested a sentence of 3 years in prison and another 3 years’ disqualification from holding public office. Judge Artan Gjermeni, alongside Zyhdi Dajti, also signed acquittals for eight former subordinates of the former INUK chief, who were also accused of abuse of office.
